There is something about a snowflake that is magical. It’s symmetry, the randomness of it’s branch structure and shape, harry potter birthday cake like a wizard’s magic wand, no two are exactly the same.

Since creating snowflake designs out of mainly Star Wars characters, the most requested theme I get is Harry Potter. So, I present the first batch of what will be many character designs for Harry Potter snowflakes. As always I recommend using scissors, a sharp x-acto knife and patience. Donate some crafted snowflakes to a local school, public library, community center, or a children’s hospital. Bring some extra joy to someone this season.

It’s very hard to catch because it’s so fast and difficult to see. It’s the Seeker’s job to catch it. The Golden Snitch, often simply called the Snitch, was the third and smallest ball used in Quidditch.

It was a walnut-sized gold-coloured sphere with silver wings. It flew around the Quidditch field at high speeds, sometimes pausing and hovering in place. Snitch, any player other than the Seeker to do so committed a foul called a Snitchnip. The Golden Snitch was originally not a ball, but a little magical bird called a Golden Snidget. Thereafter, it became customary to set frightened Snidgets loose during games.
